The seaside resort town of Kemer is situated on the Mediterranean Sea in the Antalya Province of southwestern Turkey, around 40 kilometers west of the city of Antalya and 150 kilometers northeast of Kas. Founded in the first century BCE, the city is surrounded by the magnificent Taurus mountains and boasts a rich history, stunning beaches and warm, sunny weather, making it a popular destination in modern times for boating and yachting enthusiasts from around the world.

Interestingly, Kemer was only accessible by sea until the 1960s, due to a wall that had been built to protect the town from flooding. The marina here features more than 300 berths and a variety of excellent restaurants. In addition, a number of outlying islands make this a perfect base from which to explore the picturesque coastline of the Turkish Riviera. Also of note, several of the beaches here have received the prestigious blue flag, and it is an excellent location for diving.
