Yacht charter in Tjörn / Myggenäs (Sweden)

On the island of Tjörn, which is located off the west coast of Sweden, you can find the small fishing village of Myggenäs. It is situated on the northeast corner of the island near the Tjörn Bridge to the mainland, where you will find the town of Stenungsund, and the Skåpesund Bridge, which leads to the island of Orust.

Myggenäs has a population of roughly 1,300 residents, although during the summer months this at least doubles in the wake of tourists and boating and yachting enthusiats who are seeking lovely beaches and swimming in the Western Archipelago. Primary industry on the island includes fishing and shipbuilding, and Myggenäs is no exception. Here you can get your yacht repaired or customized, and you can even rent another boat for a day excursion. All variety of water sports are enjoyed in Myggenäs, including kayaking, swimming, diving, power boating, water skiing and sailing.
