The town and marina of Biskopsudden is situated on the island of Djurgarden in southern Stockholm, around 50 kilometers northwest of Dalaro and just a few kilometers east of Waldemarsudde, which lies on the southern shore of Salt Lake. Inhabited since medieval times, today the area has become a popular tourist destination for savvy boating and yachting enthusiasts during the summer months, thanks in part to its stunning natural beauty and rich history. Also of note, Biskopsudden boasts easy access to the entire Stockholm Archipelago, acting as a perfect base from which to explore the region by sea.

While here, be sure to venture inland long enough to experience the many historical attractions in Stockholm, as well as the Royal Canal park areas, which boast a variety of museums and villas. In addition, the old town area, known as Gamla Stan, is definitely worth a visit.
