The ancient port town of Fuengirola can be found on the Costa del Sol, or ‘Coast of the Sun,’ which is located in the autonomous community of Andalusia, just off the coast bordering southern Spain. It lies on the Mediterranean Sea, just under 50 kilometers southwest of Málaga and around 35 kilometers northeast of Marbella. Today, this historic city has become a popular tourist destination among yachting enthusiasts, thanks to its warm, sunny, subtropical climate, fascinating historical sites and excellent amenities.

Of particular note, the old port of Fuengirola is still used by local fishermen, while the new port area and yacht harbor are sure to please even the most discriminating of travelers. In addition, this is a great base from which to explore the many seaside towns and villages that are located along the Costa del Sol, while the cuisine and nightlife here are second to none.
