Yacht charter in Rügen / Lauterbach (Germany)

The small port town of Lauterbach is situated on the southeast portion of the island of Rügen, around 3 kilometers southeast of Putbus and 50 kilometers south of Breege. With ruins dating back to Roman times, today the area has become a popular tourist destination for boating and yachting enthusiasts from around the world, thanks in part to the rich cultural history and excellent summer climate.

Although Lauterbach may be small in size, the marina here was designed with the traveler in mind, boasting a wide variety of excellent modern amenities and serving as a stopping point for sailors on the Baltic Sea during the summer months. This is also an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding islands, coves and other natural wonders along the scenic coastline, including the nearby island of Vilm, which is home to a stunning natural protected area known as the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve.
