The small town of Propriano is situated on the west coast of the island of Corsica, around 60 kilometers from Ajaccio, on the Gulf of Valinco in the Corsica region of France. The picturesque natural harbor has been used as a port and trading centre since Roman times, but was renovated in the 20th century to accommodate the increased commercial and tourist activity.

Today, Propriano is quite popular among seafaring travelers, thanks in part to the excellent amenities offered at the marina, but also because of the many pristine beaches that can be found in the area. In addition, it is the perfect place to go if you like to participate in a wide variety of water sports and outdoor adventures, including hiking in the nearby mountains! Also of note, the port at Propriano is home to a thriving fishing industry, so it’s no surprise that the seafood here is second to none!
