Sukošan is a small farming village on the Adriatic coast ofCroatia less than 20 minutes south of the city of Zadar. With a small harbor situated in a large bay, Sukošan is a beautiful spot for boating and yachting enthusiasts to enjoy a holiday. The coastline is populated with numerous coves and bays, boasting pebble beaches and sparkling clear blue water.

Sukošan is known as a nautical center in the region, with the Zlatna luka Marina and the Tustica Nature Complex in close proximity. There are such a large number of excellent restaurants and taverns for such a small village that it has established a reputation as a place for good wine and good times. The surrounding area supports olive groves, vineyards, orchards and many camping sites. Be sure to visit during carnival season and attend the feast of St. Kasijan (August 13th), who is the patron saint of Sukošan, for a party you will not forget.
