The historic Croatian town of Sibenik is situated in central Dalmatia where the Krka River meets the Adriatic Sea, around 90 kilometers southeast of Zadar and 50 kilometers northwest of Trogir. Settled since the 11th century CE, today the area has become a popular destination for savvy boating and yachting enthusiasts from around the world, thanks in part to the warm, sunny climate and the wide variety of historical attractions that can be found here.

While visiting Sibenik, be sure to visit the impressive stone churches that were built during the 15th and 16th centuries, and also take time to check out the 16th century seaside fortress known as St. Nicholas. Also of note, the scenic Krka National Park is located just a few kilometers away, while the nearby Kornati archipelago boasts more than 150 islands in just 320 kilometers of sea, making it the most concentrated archipelago in the entire Mediterranean Sea.
